Lately, there have been some accuracy issues with my plane identification. To my horror I discovered that I somehow misidentified a B-25 as an A-26. That is just plain embarrassing. A few days before that I confused an MD-11 for a 727. I certainly have some egg on my face and I fear what little credibility I have has taken a hit.
I blame fatigue, as I’ve had a lot on my plate lately, but my aviation-geek pride is sorely wounded.
The only thing to do is shake it off and move along, vowing to do better next time. And to review anything I write while tired before publishing it. My apologies for the errors, loyal readers. I hope you can forgive me.
